Temepara Bailey

One of New Zealand’s greatest ever and most beloved players, Temepara played 89 tests in a career spanning 15 years. A dynamic midcourter, with flair, vision and accuracy Temepara was part of the 2003 world cup winning squad and 2006 and 2010 Commonwealth Games gold medallist. Since her retirement from all netball in 2012 (aside from a brief cameo in 2014), Temepara has quietly been making her way through the coaching ranks while also combining her TV commentary work and job with College Sport Auckland. A South Auckland local, Temepara has been working with young talent in the area as the high performance manager of the Pukekohe netball centre.
