Shooter Jamie Hume will be back for a fourth year with the Stars in 2023 after delivering productive campaigns over the previous two seasons. With a new-found confidence, Hume has given timely demonstrations of her long-held potential throughout 2021 and 2022 with a consistently strong standard of play which was rewarded with selection, for the first time, in the 2021/22 Silver Ferns squad. Adding to her strong driving movement and athleticism, Hume has proved a dangerous threat in the circle with her accuracy from long range and confidence to go to the post. Hume adds mobility and flexibility to the Stars shooting end as well as variety to the attacking options. She is a former NZU21 and NZA player, and was part of the winning Fast5 Netball World Series-winning FAST5 Ferns team in 2016.
