Former silky-skilled Silver Ferns attacker Grace Kara (nee Rasmussen) returns to the Stars after taking time out last season for the birth of her first child.

The Stars will welcome Kara’s wide-ranging experience and impressive court craft to the fold. Her specialities of quickness off the line, slick feeding skills, high work rate, ability to find space and determined defensive efforts have combined to produce an accomplished and clever midcourt attacker. Kara’s presence will also add vital leadership qualities to a new-look Stars team.
