Experienced CEO Tim Hamilton has today been announced the General Manager of the new Auckland-based team in the ANZ Netball Elite League.
Hamilton, the inaugural CEO at Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty Zone and Cold Power Magic, says the opportunity to be closer to his family was something he couldn’t overlook.
"I'm excited by the prospect of the new ANZ Netball Elite League and to play a part in the establishment and direction of the new Auckland team,” Hamilton said.
"The opportunity presented by the creation of a new team was something I couldn't ignore and I am looking forward to contributing to this venture as well as returning to Auckland to be closer to my family.”
Chairman Bill Francis says the Board is delighted to have someone of Tim’s experience and calibre to lead the new Club through its early growth.
Hamilton will commence in his new role in September.
